Since I was in 6th grade I had a dream to go watch the NBA and I got the opportunity. I was a young girl back then but when we went to the Minnesota Timberwolves game it was not the time I always thought it was. After playing basketball for about 2 years I discovered the WNBA and what that was like. I haven't been to a game yet and I was supposed to go to the final four but it got cancelled because of the covid 19. The WNBA is what inspired ,me to keep grinding and work hard always. Anyways my goals to become a college athlete are from watching the WNBA and the women's final four they are my inspiration to playing at a higher level. One of my goal's is to become a better athlete by getting the opportunity to be coached by some amazing coaching staff but also to be coached by the upperclassmen. Another goal is to become a leader on and off the basketball court. Lastly my goal is to listen , learn, and never stop competing on or off the court. When I think to myself on being a good candidate to the team is, I am always trusting, ready to learn and always seeking to get better and a leader on the Deer river team. I think what makes me different from other recruiters is my funniness and my enjoyment for the game of basketball. I also think my drive towards the game stands out because I like to teach and learn at the same time, discuss what we like and what works and always have an open heart on any decisions we make as a team.
