I have been involved and interested in sports my whole life. I love playing for myself and everyone on my team! I started playing basketball around 4th grade in camps and small tournaments. I started doing basketball for just something to do when I was little and I fell in love with the sport. Not only do I play basketball, I also play Volleyball and Track and Field. I am very athletic all the way around.
I have learned throughout my career that being mentally tough is the hardest part of any sport and you have to believe in yourself and set goals that are to be reached. I learned to be mentally tough shake off mistakes that I made and use those mistakes to make me work harder toward my goals. I also have learned to listen to what the coaches and people say and not their tone in how they say it. I am a great on-ball defender and can lock people down. I can read where the ball is going to go and move to follow it. I earned the best defender on my high school team this year 2024. I am a team player and am not selfish with the ball on either side of the court. I have been playing varsity basketball since I was a sophomore, varsity volleyball since I was a freshman, and varsity track since 8th grade. I like to help with some little kid's basketball camps and spread my love for the sport to younger kids. I take my education seriously and want to study Sports Medicine in college. I have a steady 3.617 GPA. I've taken many college classes in high school including College Biology, College Literature, and College Writing.
I know the potential and skills that I have. I am hard-working, committed, and motivated towards my sports along with my education. I am a player you would want on your team.
