I work hard both on and off the court. I work hard both academically and athletically. I am going into my junior year at Milaca High School which is a small town Public High School in Milaca, MN. I played both basketball and volleyball in High school. Right now I am just concentrating on improving my basketball skills. Sports have taught me commitment, time management, leadership and goal setting. I am looking for a college that fits me both academically and athletically. I've had my goal set on playing basketball for a division I college since I started basketball. I work hard everyday so I can accomplish that goal.
I am a "team first" player. Currently on our Milaca High School basketball team I am a starter on the varsity team as a sophomore and was leading scorer this year with 299 points. I was a starter on our 2015-2016 High School Freshman basketball team as an 8th grader. We finished 3rd place in our conference. I also play on our High School's summer and fall basketball teams. I started playing organized basketball in the Fourth Grade.
I play on a Spring travel basketball team named Northpost. We play USSSA sanctioned tournaments thru Minnesota Youth Athletics Services (MYAS). I have been playing with Northpost for 4 years (Age 10). In 2013 our team was the MN Spring Champions in our division. That same year we placed 2nd in a National USSSA tournament in Kansas City, Kansas. Most of the teams we played in the National tournament were from the Kansas, Missouri area. In 2015 Northpost again became MN Spring Champions in our division. In June 2016 Northpost Played in a National USSSA basketball tournament in Gatlinburg TN. Northpost are division 2 National Champions. In 2017 I got the privilege to play again in the National tournament in Gatlinburg TN. This year we placed 2nd in the National tournament.
I am currently working out with a personal trainer from DTA Performance. My trainer's name is Marqus McGlothan. I meet with Marqus one to two days a week to work on ball handling, and shooting drills.
