I've been playing basketball since I was in 1st grade, and I truly value the sport. It has been a vital part of my life and has helped me learn skills not only on the court, but off the court as well. I'm focused on having a good work ethic, being a leader, and practicing a growth mindset.
I am very coachable and take in and apply any advice given to me, and I try to incorporate lessons learned into each game. I'm continually looking to improve. I can play many different positions, but my main position is center. I use my height and wingspan to protect the lane, rebound, score. I typically get many blocks and rebounds each game. Above all, I am focused on bettering my teammates, and myself, while making them look good on the court. I also bring positivity and energy to the team and pick my teammates up when they aren't having their best game.
I also value academics and perform well in school. I fully understand that the level of effort I put into my academics sets the tone of my success in my future career. I take pride in my grades and my performance in school and I look forward to growing both my athletic and academic careers in college.
