I'm passionate about sports, especially women's basket. I learned from a young age that competitive sports were foundational to maintaining my focus in all areas of my life. On the court, I had the nickname "bull" because I had a wicked drive to the basket and aggressive defensive skills. This drive and dedication have helped me to achieve high academic achievements at school while being highly involved in youth group, 4H, FFA, various committees, and working on our family farm by driving the heavy equipment and assisting with our livestock. Although I am an honor roll student with a 3.8 GPA and have received many academic awards, academics is an area of difficulty for me. I have learned to work hard, stay focused by incorporating regular sports, and utilize different tools or strategies to succeed. I plan on going to college to be an Agriculture Educator. I want to help students who are hands-on learners like me to be successful in the agriculture industry and in life. As a dual citizen of the United States and New Zealand, I hope to travel abroad and learn more about world agriculture and bring it to my future students locally.
