Winning the section championship for the first time in our schools history was the highlight of my high school career. I feel as a student-athlete I grew the most was my sophomore year when I tore my ACL. We were five games into the season when it occurred and it really made me realize how much I love the game. Not being able to play and help my team really motivated me to work hard at physical therapy and come back even stronger. My junior year is when we went to state for the first time and it was an experience I will never forget.
I was extremely fortunate with the program I was a part of, all of the support from my coaches and teammates was absolutely incredible and definitely shaped me into the person I am today. I learned so many things throughout my high school years and I am just so grateful for everyone who helped me along the way. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team and to also do well academically. I believe I have a great work ethic and I'm always wanting to compete. I have what it takes to be a great player and leader for your team!
