Hello, My name is Madeline Mattox and I have been playing sports as long as I can remember. Although you may find me on the softball or soccer field, I am usually spending most if not all of my time in the gym practicing basketball. I realized basketball was my passion at a very young age. In fact a basketball was the first ball I ever picked up. As far as my dreams go, I want to play basketball in college and I just want to make a difference on a team. I am one of the hardest workers you will find and my coaches would agree. I learned how to be a hard worker especially during my time in physical therapy rehabbing a torn ACL my ninth grade year. Ever since then I have come back 10 times stronger and hungry to work hard. On top of wanting to be the best I can in sports, I also take pride in my grades. I have been on the headmaster's list at Pillow Academy for all of my high school career and I plan on it staying that way for my senior year. I really hope a college coach will take a chance on me because I will work harder than anyone else. Not just on the court but off the court as well. This will be my first year starting for my school team because of the senior players before me. I have done very well coming off of the bench however. This year I plan on helping my team win a State and Overall title. My goal is to make a lasting impression on my school for my senior year on and off of the court.
