Avery Walker '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Avery Walker and I am a 5'3 shooting guard. I am attending Gallatin High School in Bozeman Montana. I have played basketball since I was in 2nd grade and have grown a love and passion for the game. Basketball has been a very big part of my life as I put consistent time and energy  into honing my skill and finding playing opportunities.  However, I  have also prioritized having good grades and getting the most out of my academic experiences. In college I want to major in nursing. I have found a joy for helping others when they are at their weakest. 

I am very motivated to continue my basketball career in college. I have been a  hard- working player and student of the game. One of my stronger suites on the court is my aggressive defense and competitiveness. I am looking forward to bringing my intensity and work ethic to the right collegiate basketball program.
