Aspen Giese '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college are to excel in academics and constantly impact the success of my college basketball team.  You can make an impact in a lot of different ways, and the thing I try hardest to do is be a good leader.  Being a leader happens on the court, in the classroom and during the course of every day.  The thing I think is most important about leading is constantly working hard.  From a very young age I knew that I wanted to play sports in college.  It is my passion, and I work hard to earn my way on every team.  I show my teammates that I am willing to put full effort into everything I do, and I believe that is the best way to lead. I take pride in my work.  

I have very high goals in everything I do.  I do not settle for second best and I pride myself in the way my work is done.  Even in the face of adversity this is important.  I have been faced with many setbacks along my athletic career and I have managed to keep my head up and work through all of them.  I will continue to do that in college and beyond.
