Linnea Schafer '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Linnea Schafer, I was raised on a farm in Eastern Washington with a strong work ethic and drive for what I do. I’ve loved competing since I was young, and enjoy the other sports I’ve played, but basketball is where my passion grew, and what I truly desire to continue to play after high school. I have a strong inner drive and commitment to improve, and value a dedication to a process and journey of becoming the best player, teammate, and person I can be. Although I have a passion for basketball, I understand that it isn’t everything, and I place my focus and values on building characteristics and habits through my sport that will translate over, and help continue to shape me into the inspiring leader I strive to be, where I can have a positive impact on those around me. I truly put my all into anything I do, including school, sports, and life. I have an appreciation for the relationships I’ve formed and the lessons I’ve learned through both the ups and the downs, and would love to continue my journey while playing basketball in college.
