Kynlee Strauser '23 Recruiting Profile

I have loved basketball for as long as I can remember. I was a student manager for the high school team when I was in elementary as well as playing club ball in the winter with my local team and in the summer with my travel team. Once I got older, I realized how much I wanted to play at the next level. I have started varsity since my freshman year, earning Conference Honorable Mention my freshman year, Conference 2nd team sophomore year, and Conference 1st team junior year. 

This year we made it to state for the first time since 2004. We ended up placing 4th, but that has only made be work harder to make it farther next year. 

I pride myself in my defensive ability. I gladly take on my coaches assignment of having me guarding the other teams best player and strive to make hustle plays. 

While playing volleyball, basketball, and running track, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while scoring a 30 on the ACT. I plan to become a physical therapist and hope to specialize in pediatric physical therapy.
