I have been playing basketball since I was in the 3rd grade. Since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will have a lasting impact my whole life.
I have a high basketball IQ, and read the court well. I pride myself in being an aggressive defensive player, and have good ballhandling skills. I like to play hard all of the time. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest working player on the court and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I enjoy being a volunteer coach at our local girls youth basketball programs. I love getting a chance to help develop the younger girls and showing them a love for basketball.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am looking to join a positive close knit basketball family/team that I can spend the next 4 years with making memories and building relationships, surrounded by like-minded individuals that strive to be successful in life. I want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, especially my 3 younger sisters and to make my parents proud.
