Yara Bou Harb '22 Recruiting Profile

As an international student-athlete, I was not really sure about anything when I came to the United States other than the fact that this is the country I want to play basketball in, further my education, and start my professional career. I knew I was going to face adversities and many challenges, but what I did not know is how much those experiences would help me grow and shape me as an individual and a player. Over the last five years, I have directly witnessed great sacrifice, work ethic, and love from both my parents and they have helped me define those terms and apply them to my education and basketball.  I know that I have a lot more room to grow within the game of basketball both mentally and physically but I also know that I am a student of the game and am going to do whatever it takes to be better every day and put the team that I am leading and myself in the best position for success. I am looking for a program that will allow me to fully express myself on the floor and help me get better not just in the long run, but every day.
