My name is Mckenzie Landon. I have been playing basketball since the 3rd grade on various rec, AAU, and school teams, as well as attended multiple basketball camps including BYU’s annual summer camp. I am also a cross country and track runner. My junior year track season my team won regionals and I ranked 3rd in the state in 2 events. I am hard working and motivated to become a better player and improve my skills as a teammate and individual.
Along with basketball, education is extremely important to me as well. I have a 4.0 GPA and am enrolled in a rigorous STEM academy at my high school. I am also enrolled in all honors core classes.
Over the years I have learned to balance athletics, school and church responsibilities. This can be a daunting task as many of these activities consume much of my time, but despite it all I devote a large portion of my time practicing and becoming a better basketball player. I have several All Star player and MVP awards.
Overall, I love the sport and want to push myself to be best player I can be. I decided from a young age that I wanted to play college basketball, and continue to work hard.
