Hi there! I am currently a Junior attentind Profile High school, our basketball team recently just traveled to the southern part of the state to attend the annual winter BASH tournament; at the end of the tournament I was recognized as apart of the all tourney team along with 4 other girls. My dream to play college ball sparked when I went to my first UConn girls basketball game. I was blown away at how the team played and wanted to be apart of it. As a player I am dedicated and willing to put in the work to better myself. I am a captain of my Varsity team, I lead and I am considered go be a mentor for the girls on the team; learning and adjust for the past 5 years on how to control the tempo of the game if it starts to get hectic and messy, and being able to read the other teams defense and call out what offense we should run. I have been playing at the varsity level since I was in the seventh grade, so I am very understanding and comfortable with a faster paced game. I am pretty good at having the balance of academics and my athletics, this year my grades are a little lower than usual but I do have a heavier load for my classes this semester.
