Megan King '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since 4th grade.  I have dedicated all my seasons to basketball. I’ve played all through middle school and through my high school career. I’ve also played AAU for the Spartans, NH Flames and recently for Southern NH Saints. In the summer of 2017, my Saints team and I traveled to Atlanta, Georgia for Adidas Nationals and made it to the final four out of 32 teams. More recently we traveled to Atlantic City, NJ for the gauntlet tournament and won the whole thing.  

During my freshman and sophomore years, I was on the JV team for basketball and my team and I won the JV tournament my sophomore year. My junior year I was on the varsity team and we made it to the championship game but sadly lost.

I am planning to study education in college. I have always loved working with children and working basketball camps in the summer grew my love for teaching them new things. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old.

My other interests include biking outside, going to the beach, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
