There are two things everyone should know about me:
1) For basketball...no matter what team I am on, and no matter that the I am NEVER the tallest on the team , when I am in play I tip off and put in the center at almost 5/11". I attribute this to my vertical leap, family given strenght and fight.
I know I want to be around motivated people who take care as they move around in school, family and teams. Can I tell you I want to definately be a doctor, teacher, lawyer or nurse? No. I do know that getting to this opportunity to apply for colleges and possibly play bball for a college has been full of learning, teams, lots of practices, love from family and friends and also tons of fun. I know lots of kids are really clear on their career goals. My problem is I have so many interests: architecture, education, and anatomy are just my academic interests. My hobbies have included guitar and piano, but truly my best musical talent is putting together video montages. I have tons of friends and besides basketball (my first love) I throw shotput, disc and javelin. I have had earlier achievement in running, jumping, volleyball, and softball. I put those aside to focus on basketball and also shotput as a secondary event. The notable thing about my friends is that they are also a good blend of intense but chill. My friends are also notable for being adults. I am often complimented for being part of the "adult" conversations.
I look to contribute as I always have with all my strength, training, genetic s and intensity. I have trained for many years and always seek to work with people better than I am. My focus is my greatest strength, my sincere interest in everyone around me is my motivation, and well my physical strength is my genetic gift I try my best to develop and contribute to my team.
My mom wants me to make sure that I write about how we made a lot of decisions to keep me from growing up too fast. We didn't go crazy with tutors or as far as we could have with AAU. Once people saw my height and strength I was constantly recruited. Also , I have taken an academic course in high school risking my GPA to take Latin, but yet not also focusing soley on AP classes. My family is filled with academics and we vowed to take high school courses in high school and take college classes in college. I can't wait to get there.
