Isabella (Belle) Pellecchia '21 Recruiting Profile

I made a difficult decision to leave my comfort zone of my hometown public school where I was a star athlete to attend a private school forty-five minutes away. I wanted to be challenged academically and athletically and not experience a school where everyone looked the same, talked the same and thought the same. When I arrived at Rutgers Prep I did not know many people or the coaches for either basketball and soccer. I have learned to thrive in my diversified environment both on and off the court and field. 

I was really looking forward as a rising Senior to leading my AAU team this summer! Unfortunately, everything was cancelled except for the upcoming two Spooky Nook tournaments. I flourish in fast pace environments and my strength is knowing how to read the opposing players and finding open opportunities for my teammates and myself.  Team always comes first in my eyes. I am very coachable and would love to take my skills and passion to the next level in college!
