As a 14-year-old sophomore in high school, I have heard many people tell me I'm too young. I'm too young to play, too young to be a sophomore, and too young to ever get recruited. My goal is to live out my passions and God's purpose for my life, with my age being a benefit rather than a barrier. 

I started learning the fundamentals of the game when I was 5 years old, and at 8, I was the only girl playing with all boys. However, my passion for the bars and the gym mat led me to continue my development in gymnastics, where I soared through New York state competitions for four thrilling years. In my first year in the sport, I ended my season at the bottom of the pack, which drove me to train harder. I returned to the NY State Competition less than a year later and ended my season with a placement among the Top 20 athletes in my state division. Unfortunately, my body had other plans, and I had to bid farewell to gymnastics sooner than I hoped.

But life's about rebounds. So, three years later, and some time staying active on the soccer field, I bounced back onto the hardwood as a freshman at Veritas Christian Academy and rediscovered my raw ability and love for basketball. Starting off on JV, I hustled harder than ever, earning my stripes and a starting spot on Varsity mid-season.

From basketball to academics, my resiliency, ability to tune out negative voices, and laser focus on hitting my goals make me a strong competitor, dynamic teammate, and coachable player. I bring grit, determination, and a hunger to constantly improve.
