Makeda Casiquito '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makeda Casiquito and I have been playing basketball for roughly 7-8 years now. My college goals and aspirations are to succeed whether it is in the classroom or on the court. My determination my whole life has always been to be the best at anything I do. I am a very outspoken person who is not afraid to take charge if I have to and this translates in the classroom when there are projects to be done or on the court when the coach is busy and I have to be the one to step up and get everyone in line. 

Though I can be stern I am very friendly and easy to talk to which helps me get along with people I don't know. I always look forward to spending time with my teammates because I like bonding and making special connections with them whether it be on or off the court. I love motivating people and getting them on the same track as everyone else because it makes me happy and gets their drive back. I enjoy the environment basketball brings, whether it's hard practices or hard games. I enjoy every aspect of the sport because there is so much to be learned from it.
