"Ball is Life." This is a statement many young athletes my age and older live by. Yes, basketball is a large 'part' of my life, however it is not my sole priority. What has been instilled in me to be first in my life is my education. My second focus is basketball. I work as hard in my studies as I do on the court. Just as I shoot 500 shots per day, I read and/or study daily. My attitude towards challenges, both on and off the court, is quite unique. When I encounter a challenge, I take steps to solve it. I identify my challenge, study it, and work hard to reverse any bad habits to new and healthy ones. This goes for encounters, both in the classroom and on the court.
