I learned how to play basketball in second grade when my school was doing the basketball unit. I loved playing and I found it easier than the other kids, so I went to a basketball camp the coaches were doing over the summer. The following year, my friend asked me if I would like to play for this little league where a group of girls, that were our age, would get split up into eight or ten different teams depending on how many coaches there were. I did that league since the seventh grade, when I was old enough to play for school. At first basketball was a thing I just did until eighth grade, when I started practicing more and playing with the boys that went to the YMCA. I had improved a lot now that I think about it and I'm excited to improve more in following years. Basketball is my passion and I’m confident in myself that I will make it to the next level.
