Ava Gaspie '25 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Ava Gaspie and I am Class of 2025 of Mechanicville High School in Mechanicville, New York. I am working on my Junior year of basketball. My Freshman year I was a starter on JV and then I got pulled up for sectionals and my Sophomore year I started a few games as Power Foward/Small Foward. I played AAU for Rosie Car Academy throughout my 5th-8th year, then I played for my schools AAU team for my 2022 season, and now this 2023 season I will be playing for Cap City Scrappers. I have been playing basketball ever since I could walk and my love has never stopped growing for it. I train all year around and in the summer I practice with my High School coach to improve my skill. In the fall season I play Soccer, which benefits me on getting in better shape for basketball and staying active, I used to play Softball in the spring season but quit this year to focus on basketball. People would say I am a very hard working/dedicated individual when it comes to school and sports. I have a 3.0/4.0 GPA in school and try and excel in getting my grades up, I take school seriously so I can be an excellent student-athlete. My goal is to play in college and get a degree in Criminal Justice field. I am a perfectionist and I have what it takes to succeed academically and physically to be on top and help lead any team.
