Nickelle ONeil '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a very disciplined and hardworking player. Basketball has been a part of my life since the age of 7 when I started out as a PIP-player in progress at my grade school. Since then; I’ve played AAU basketball always playing up a level. My high school career started with JV basketball in 7^th grade and Varsity in 8^th. I have put in the necessary work to develop my ability to navigate the court with tremendous speed and quickness.

One of the best things about basketball is playing for my Dad who happens to be the Coach of my amazing Cardinal O’Hara high school team that has won the Monsignor Martin Catholic School League Championship every year I’ve played.

I am looking for a college that is a good fit for me both academically and athletically.  While in college; I look forward to the personal growth I will accomplish on/off the court. I’d like to pursue a major in Business Management that will position me well for a Masters degree which will enable me to pursue a career in Project Management. On the court, I see myself becoming a dynamic player with a positive impact on the team. As I continue to grow throughout my college basketball career; I will make every effort to always be an asset to my team.

Based on the strong foundation my Parents have given me; I have been able to maintain my status as an honor roll student and I will continue to conduct myself on and off the court in a manner that will be a good reflection of myself, my teammates, my coaches and my school.
