2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I want to play at a high competitive level where I can be pushed and challenged to get better every day. I want to be in a program that focuses on academic goals and achievement just as much as athletics. I have been a high achiever in academics at my high school, which provides a rigorous college preparatory curriculum. I am an accomplished 3-sport athlete and was named All Conference in all three sports this year (volleyball, basketball and soccer) and my basketball and soccer teams were conference championship and state quarterfinalists.
I work hard in the off-season, getting up at 6:30 a.m. to work out. This has taught me the discipline necessary for college sports. I also work out with a personal trainer.
This past summer (July 2017) was my first summer playing on a travel basketball team as I have played travel soccer over the previous five years. I made tremendous progress and expect my improvement to continue to accelerate.
