Kara Walker '21 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was little, I have always enjoyed playing sports and being athletic, but it wasn't until the beginning of 6th grade that I found a love and passion for volleyball. Though I am only a freshman at Terry Sanford High School, volleyball has already taught me the values of hard work, teamwork and leadership. These attributes have allowed me to better my game and stay focused on my long term goals. One of these goals is my academics, which have and always will be a major focal point in my high school and collegiate career. I have put a lot of time and effort into my school work over the years and though it has been difficult at times, I feel I have done a good job of balancing sports with academics. I am looking forward to continuing my love for volleyball throughout my high school career and hopefully at the collegiate level.
