Ailah Dorofeev '22 Recruiting Profile

Upon graduation from high school, my goal is to receive an athletic scholarship and to maintain my high grades. I look forward to every opportunity to practice and become a better ball player. I am very easy to coach and enjoy it. I believe that I would be an asset to your college because I am a very hard worker. I do not give up very easily and do my best in everything. I've been told by many different coaches of my strong defensive skills, and ability to steal the ball. At Sugar Creek Christian Academy, my high school, I am the team captain of both volleyball and basketball varsity teams. I believe I was chosen for this role not only because of my athletism, and strong defensive skills, but because I also try to be an encourager to my teammates. I think I am different than other athletes because I make it a personal goal to stay focused in the game regardless of the score.
