Personal Statement
In college, I aspire to gain new leadership skills that will provide me with a general knowledge to succeed in any field of study I choose. I am a good candidate for your team because my focus is not on stats post-game but rather how I can help my team to succeed, which makes me different from other players. If you need a scorer, I can score, but my strength lies in facilitating the ball and how I can help my teammates score and my team win games. The mentality I carry is that basketball is more than a game. Basketball, to me, is a metaphor for life, the wins the losses the ups and downs will all provide me with skills that will help set me up for success later in life.
