My name is Lena Christensen, and here are some important things to know about me. In the class room, my career goals for college is to study to be a nurse, focusing in pediatric oncology. I hope to achieve this where ever God puts me, and that will be determined by finances and comfort. I am a great student, a great hands on learner, and most importantly I am very teachable.
I love the game of basketball, if that was not true I would not be pursuing this path. Basketball has always been a part of my life and I would love to play at the collegiate level. Basketball has taught me to push myself and my teammates, to be a hard worker, a team player, and a leader on and off the court. I have developed a passion for this sport over the years because of the sisterhood and family like atmosphere it creates, and I have been blessed to be apart of it.
Lastly, but most importantly I am a Christian who happens to be an athlete, not the other way around. My morales, and work ethic will reflect that. I am honest, and strive to do what is best, always. By playing basketball in college my hope is not to be showing off my skills alone but to show the glory of God through them.
