I am an incredibly driven and dedicated individual. I plan to become either an oral surgeon or an orthodontist. I have successfully juggled multiple responsibilities such as: working two part-time jobs, taking college classes along with my high school classes, and playing AAU basketball during my track season.
My high school basketball coach utilizes me to shut down my opponent's offensive threats as I pride myself on playing great defense! I run the 100 meter in track and my fastest time is 12.6 seconds. This level of speed really helps me to do well on the basketball court.
During AAU this past season, I have worked to improve my offense. I scored between 3 - 15 points per game. I always follow my shot, which often results in me getting my own rebounds in the event that I miss. I am always very consistent with boxing out and I am also a great ball handler. Even though I am only 5'2", my speed and ball handling ability allows me to get around the taller players in order to make plays. I absolutely love playing basketball and I plan to play throughout all of my college years.
