Personal Statement

I began playing basketball in 4th grade on an AAU basketball team. I then played on my brothers AAU basketball team in 5th grade for 1 season. 6th grade year I began playing for a team and have continued to play for the same AAU team to this day. Academics is one of my top priorities. I will also put in 100% effort on the basketball court. I also believe in being the first one on and the last one off the court for practices. I have juggled extra curricular activities including basketball with my academics my whole career. I am coachable and I am a team player. I show my leadership on and off the court. “Integrity” is the word I live by in sports and academics. I believe in doing the right thing no matter who is or isn’t watching.
