Naomi Smith '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Naomi Smith currently attending the 11th grade at MacArthur High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. My goals are to graduate with honors from high school, attend college, play basketball and compete against other colleges on the highest level possible.  I want to earn a degree in Athletic Training and be an Athletic Trainer for an athletic program.

I can be a great fit to a college basketball team because I believe that I have polished my skillset to prepare for the next level.  I have  great court awareness and my basketball IQ allows me to make great on court decisions when spotting open teammates.  My ball handling skills allow me to open up the floor and create space for my teammates.  I have always had a hunger to score the basketball but my point guard instincts always play a major role in my decision making when deciding whether to score or make the extra pass.  I am a solid defender, on and off the ball.  I have very good instincts and catlike reflexes that allow me to anticipate and make great defensive plays.
