Brailey Houseman '23 Recruiting Profile

I feel what makes me a good candidate to play at your school is that I’ve faced a lot of adversity in my high school career as far as being on a predominantly losing team and being forced into playing positions that aren’t my natural spot. I’ve mostly had to play point guard out of necessity with the skill set of a small forward or wing player. This has forced me to learn patience and overall leadership which are skills that don’t just naturally come to me. It’s been a great experience so far because I’ve learned a lot about myself during this process. My love for basketball and the team aspect has driven me to work hard not only for myself, but for my teammates so we could go out and compete each game. 

My basketball goals and aspirations would consist of playing collegiately on a team where I can play my role and use my skill set to be a true asset to a team.
