My name is Brooklyn Summers, and sports and basketball have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've grown to enjoy learning about the human body and having a healthy routine for myself. That's why I'm excited to pursue a career as a physical trainer or physical therapist.
I believe I would be an excellent fit for your team. Working together with coaches and other girls is something I truly enjoy. I bring energy, a smiling face, and a positive attitude. I consider myself a natural leader and an encourager, always looking out for my teammates and offering support when they need it the most. When I see a teammate who is feeling down, I try to encourage and lift them up. Whether it's cheering on my teammates, giving high fives, or being loud on the bench, I'm always there to give support.
I'm not afraid of pushing myself physically; being fit and strong is really important to me. Weightlifting and regular workouts are part of my daily routine even on weekends and breaks. Coaches from my past sports and teams have told me how "coachable" I am, and how hard I work to improve. When it comes to academics, I just really LOVE school! I hardly ever miss a day of school and genuinely enjoy learning and being there.
At 6 feet tall, I have always been one of the tallest girls growing up. Rather than feeling self-conscious, my family taught me to have confidence in my height and recognize the advantage it brings in sports. As the oldest sibling to my little brother and sister I have needed to be responsible. These qualities naturally carry over into sports, where I take my role seriously.
I believe my athletic abilities, positive attitude, and leadership skills help me stand out. Thank you for considering me as a potential member of your team!
