Kate Vineyard '22 Recruiting Profile

I work hard on the court and in the classroom! My grades are excellent, my coursework challenging, and I will be graduating with honors! Choosing coursework that is challenging means my work ethic is top notch. I am continuously striving to do my best and exceed the expectations. I am currently a young 2022 Senior playing varsity basketball at Nyssa High. I have attended the Nyssa School district for the past 12 years. I have really grown to love the sport of basketball and have competed with the same group of girls over the past 6 years! We have taught each other so many things. I have developed my leadership skills and have helped our team to a 3rd place state finish last year. We have learned the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and positive mental energy!

I hope to continue playing basketball at the next level. I am constantly working on my individual skills and my knowledge of the sport. I believe my most significant contributions are my hard work, a strong defensive posture, my ability to stay out of foul trouble, my pressure defense and quickness, and my free throw percentage. Wherever I go next, I'll bring a positive, strong mental attitude with me!
