My goal is to play college level basketball and to receive a scholarship for higher education to be able to create a stable future for myself. I am a very outgoing and determined person and I never stop working hard. I am a motivator and role model to many of the younger and older people of my Tewa/Hopi reservation. Although I am only a small girl on a small reservation, I dream big and always put all my effort into whatever I am doing whether it is in the classroom or on the court to inspire the people around me. I want to be the example as a Native American to show that my people and I are capable of such accomplishments and we have potential. I WILL NOT be stereotyped and be put down by anyone or anything, because I do see a vision for myself. I will be the one to raise the bar for my community to show that ANYBODY has the opportunity for success. Whichever jersey name and number I wear, I will wear with as much pride as I love to say I am Native American.
