Cristina Fernandez '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cristina Fernandez I am a senior at Oxford Area High School in Oxford, Pa. I am a 5’ 7”guard for my AAU team and who currently plays point guard for my high school and play volleyball. My best assets in playing basketball is my understanding of the game and my long distance shooting. I love to play an aggressive on ball defense and love to run up and down the court at a high level.

Other assets is the ability to assist teammates and put them in position to succeed. My personal strong points in life are setting goals for myself and achieving those specific goals.

The most important accomplishments in basketball so far is competing with my AAU teammates in national tournaments. That was a great experience competing with teams from around the country.

What I can offer to a college program is leadership, leading my team in the right direction. The type of school I am looking for will enhance my academic and athletic attributes so I can succeed at the highest level.

I am undecided in my academic interest at this time; however, math and science are my best subjects.

My athletic goal is to pursue playing basketball at the highest level. Basketball is a sport I have a strong passion for, and I feel I would be a great plus to any program. I want to be able to play and compete against the highest competition available.
