I love the game of basketball and intend to play on the college level while studying Social Work or Physical Therapy. I have prepared thus far to accomplish this by maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout my 3 years of high school. I will make a good choice for any team because I work hard to get the results I desire. For example for 3 consecutive years I have not been absent or late to school, practice or a game except once, recognized as the MVP of my team and been invited to play in the Penn Jersey all-star games. I enjoy being accountable on and off the court academically, athletically and socially and have been successful in doing so by being chosen the Player of the Year by the coaches in my high school league and teen leader at church. Most recently this past June I was invited by the Rotary Club of Abington to join 100 other juniors to participate in a Leadership Camp, Camp Nedig to learn how to sharpen my leadership skills and navigate best as a team member. I believe I am different from other recruits in my work ethic which I require of myself to not expect anything to just come my way but to earn it. Additionally, I struggle sometimes with stuttering and speech therapy has been an asset in my determination to not allow it to hinder me in anyway with the help of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
