Alyssa Parks '25 Recruiting Profile

Three words that describe me are; passionate, driven and focused.

I have been passionate about sports since the moment I learned how to kick and throw a ball. I am driven to succeed not only in sports but also academics. My ultimate dream and desire is to play college basketball while achieving my degree.

I am a very coachable athlete and have taken a lot of advice from my coaches and athletes that I look up to. I spend hours upon hours playing on and off the court. I spent mornings waiting for the bus working on drills not to mention nights in the basement trying to perfect my dribbling. I have become the best ball handler on my team and will continue putting in the work to be even better. This is when I realized it takes time, dedication, and hard work to be the player I am and the player I want to be.

Basketball is my passion, but I put in the work for everything I do. Not only as a multi-sport athlete but also as a person, I give everything my all and am blessed to have the drive and dedication that I do!

I am focused on showing up for any sport I compete in with my best attitude and effort, whether it be basketball, track and field or cross country. I show up each and every time ready to perform! It shows because As much as I Love basketball I still perform exceptionally well in all my sports by qualifying for districts in all four events during my first year and Qualified for states in Cross Country coming up just shy of a state medal. I am also focused on what my future goals are, knowing that a good education is important and will allow me the opportunity to continue playing sports during my college years. Passionate, driven and focused the words that best describe me but I couldn’t be those things without my teammates; former, present and future. I am a team player and excited to see what the future brings for myself and my future basketball team.
