Kelsey McKenna '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Kelsey McKenna. I am a 5’9 and 125 lb. basketball shooting guard and/or small forward. As a freshman, I played varsity, and started many games making it all the way to finals. I was molded to be a shooting guard, but am very versatile as I am able to play any position. This was a beautiful experience as it helped me develop in so many ways, and helped me know that basketball is what truly makes me happy. I love working on and off the court to make myself a better person. I am determined with a drive to get things done with or without my team. I like to work hard not just playing sports, but in school. My grades are always above average. I always have put school first even if it was frustrating. Anything I struggle with helps me to push myself harder to understand and to excel with what I need to. I enjoy volunteering and giving back to my community as much as I possibly can. I have always been told that my energy is unremarkable, and that my positive and passionate spirit can help me reach anything.
