Who am I?
I am a 5’9, combo guard from Blythewood, South Carolina. I enjoy dancing, spending time with family, and painting. I plan to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Business Management followed by a Master’s in Physical Therapy. My ultimate goal is to own a pediatric physical therapy practice.
What makes me different from other recruits?
One of my coaches often calls me the floor general because of my leadership and while I am grateful for the comment, I honestly love being a leader in the process that it takes to reach our team goal. I love basketball because of the contact. When I drive to the basket while breaking through a zone, I feel like I can break through anything in life while gaining the courage to keep moving forward. I am constantly studying the game to find ways to make myself better as a player and teammate. I love watching game film to see how I can make myself better for my team. As a point guard, I believe it is my job to know how each of my teammates play so that I can adjust to each player's style. Every player doesn't pass the same or shoot the same so I have to adjust to that because as the point guard, I am the glue that brings all of our different playing styles together. The more I study who they are as players, the better it makes me as a player.
What am I looking for?
I am looking for an institution of higher education and basketball program that feels like home. My family means everything to me and I pray to be a part of program where I will be treated like family. Also, a program that they can help me become a better person on and off the court.
