I am a 5'11 center from Cleveland Tennessee. I am a freshmen at Cleveland High School. I have been playing basketball since the 5th grade. When I tried out in the 5th grade I did not think I would like it, because I never played before. After I made the team I knew this was something I wanted to do for a very long time. During the summer, I started to play with an AAU team, so I can stay in a gym instead of doing nothing. When I got into middle school basketball became a must do for me. Everyday after practice I went outside and worked on things I needed to work on. 6th - 7th grade I played with two different teams. When I got into 8th grade I knew I wanted to play basketball in high school, so I would work hard everyday. I'll go to lessons after practice or stayed and shoot for a little bit. My 8th grade year we only lost one game, and we were number one going into state. We lost the first round though. After the season was over I played with a new AAU team. It was only the last bit of summer. My first year of playing high school ball was pretty good. I learned new things, and I am getting better with the ball.
I started on JV and now I have been playing on the varsity team some. I have been determined to master the game of basketball like I do academically. I would like to pursue a career in basketball after college and even play for the WNBA. My goals to me are not far away and I hope that you will become apart of that goal with me.
