Basketball is my greatest love, and I have been playing since I was three years old. I am following in the footsteps of My great-grandmother, Amanda Ruth Carter. She was one of the first female basketball players to play full-court at the college level at Chillicothe Business College in Missouri. Her participation in what had been up to then a mens' activity has inspired me to play basketball. I have had to overcome many obstacles in my life to continue playing basketball. These hardships have led me to be a persistent person and a dedicated player. I have been in the local newspaper for point scoring innumerable times, and my All-Conference Awards demonstrates my ability. I would be an asset to any team.
