Audrey (Speedy) Threet '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Audrey Threet, part of the class of 2024, from River Road High School in Amarillo, Texas. In my time playing basketball, I have played all positions, starting with post in 3rd grade to now being a guard/post. I enjoy being alongside my teammates and leading everyone on the right path. I would best describe myself as an extremely hard worked on both sides of the ball, a scoring post who can consistently put up shots, and a defender who can read the floor. 

Along with this, I would consider myself a student of the game. I enjoy watching film to see where I can improve as a player. As for academically, I have a 3.9/4.0 GPA. In college I would like to study Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Sales and Merchandising.

 My goal is to be the best that I can, as well as make my teammates the best that they can be. My collegiate goal is to obtain a basketball scholarship at a D2 or D3 college, but I would be grateful for any scholarship to play after high school. 

I want to impact the next level, not just the games, but also the team and community of the college I am a part of. I hope to be the best listener I can be and soak up as much as I can from coaches, players, and professors. As I am entering my Junior season, I can’t wait to see what the future of my recruitment holds for me.
