Jasmine Fields '17 Recruiting Profile

     My plan for college mostly consists of playing basketball. Seeing girls from my region play the game they love in high school and then have the luxury to compete in college is a dream of mine. To go to school and fulfill career aspirations and also play basketball at such a high level...What more could a competitor ask for?  What makes me a prospect for any team is that I can create plays for everyone on my team, including myself. Setting myself apart from other players would be the constant encouragement I give to my teammates throughout the entire game. Whether it be a rough game or the best game of the season, being a team leader by encouragement helps every player grow to trust you. Also, I believe that if you want to be the best competitor on your team, in your region, or state, your training must be tougher than the "best".  My character has a strong foundation of integrity. I have had hard lessons that have shown me that when you take the easier, comfortable way, whether it be in athletics, academics, or life the result is average. But, when you aspire to be the best you can possibly be, the results will be greater than what you had hoped for. If I was given a chance to play basketball in college, I would take advantage of my opportunity and devote myself to the team.
