I was born with Cystic Fibrosis. My doctors told me that basketball saved my life. The more I play, the less I have to be in the hospital. I have to fight and play hard just to keep myself healthy.
But I also love the game. Thats why I would love to keep playing after high school. Not just for my health, but for my mind as well. I also have been diagnosed with dyslexia. So I have to fight hard with my studies and in the class room. Because I know I need to keep my grades up to stay on the team. It’s motivation for sure.
