Macie Medrano '20 Recruiting Profile

When picturing my future in college, the picture always included playing basketball. Education is essential to my future. I intend on majoring in Nursing and becoming an Obstetrical Nurse. Playing collegiate basketball while earning my degree would be the opportunity of a lifetime.

While I have played multiple sports, basketball is my one true passion. I pride myself in being a team leader and a positive role model. I strive each day, to make not only myself better, but also my team. It is important to me that I do whatever is necessary to reach my full potential (extra gym time, trainings, camps, and watching film, etc.)

I hope to attend a college that pushes me both in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am fully aware that to be successful at the next level it will take hard work and dedication. I know that my work ethic will be an asset to your program and I look forward to the opportunity to achieve greatness.
