I am very committed; determined and hard working both academically and athletically. I'm going into my senior year at South Grand Prairie High School located in Grand Prairie, Texas. Basketball is my passion! I've loved the game since I could remember. Basketball has taught me many things. First, is how to become a leader. By practicing tirelessly and grinding to be the best player I can be. Next, it has taught me about teamwork. I enjoy contributing to my team by making numerous assist every game. I also enjoy defense, the intense rush of having to get a stop to win the game. I have adapted the knowledge of seeing the court. Knowing when the right time to attack and shoot has become my new speciality. I've also learned the importance of knowing my role on and off the court by staying positive and supportive through wins and loses. Last it has taught me to believe in myself. Through adversities and perseverance I've improved my ball handling skills, speed, shot and floor IQ.
This 2018-2019 season South Grand Prairie High School Girl's basketball team won the Colleyville Heritage Tournament. We also defeated powerhouse Duncanville Panthers and the Number 1 State Ranked Cedar Hill Longhorns to play in the regional finals.
This is my 8th year playing AAU summer ball.I currently play for Texas Elite Ultra Boost 17U. I have played in several different competitive tournaments such as, Battle on the Bayou in New Orleans, Addidas Nationals in Atlanta, Prime event in Orlando Florida, and the Super sixty-four in Frisco, Texas.
Basketball is such an important part of my life. My dream is to play at the college level. I believe practice makes perfect and I am committed to becoming better every day. I love the game and I am grateful to be able to get the opportunity to enhance my game through hard work and dedication. I never want to stop learning how to become better, I want to be the best ever to play the game.
