My name is Madyson Jean-Louis and I’m a part of the Graduate Class of 2020. I attend South Grand Prairie High school in Grand Prairie, TX and I’m and currently on the varsity team. In the middle of my freshman basketball season, I was moved up to varsity for my defense. That was an eye opening experience because it gave me the opportunity to play at a higher level and bring additional intensity to my team’s game. I begin playing basketball at the age of 10 in the 5th grade. I grew a deep passion for the game. I attend skills training twice a week and I attend basketball camps in the local DFW area to improve my game. I currently play with Texas Elite 17U AAU team. Other than basketball, I play two other sports; volleyball and soccer, which has helped a lot with my athleticism. I participate in a lot of extracurricular activities outside basketball such as community service with National Juniors Honors Society, which takes part in my academics. My goals are playing basketball at the collegiate level while obtaining my Environmental Engineering degree.
