I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I love the game as a sport, its competitive nature and the intensity associated with it. I love to work hard, play hard, and push my limits to the max. Basketball to me is more than a game, but a way of life. Basketball has been a catalyst in preparing me for adversity and challenges in my life and has taught me to overcome and achieve. I am extremely athletic, mentally tough, and psychologically dependent on the competitive nature associated with basketball. I would love to use basketball and its structure to help propel me and my educational experience in college to prepare me for my professional career. Academics are an important part of my present and future and I believe basketball in college will provide the necessary structure to prepare me for my professional life. I would like ultimately to use my sports related background in conjunction with my professional future in some type of radio/television/film sports related career. I take great pride in my basketball ability, God given talent, and athleticism and want to maximize my full potential. I see college basketball as being a gateway to my professional future.
